Boeing Delivers Copa Airlines' Second 737-800
SEATTLE, Nov. 17, 2003 -- Some 60 Copa Airlines executives, star employees and corporate guests boarded a new 737-800 Friday morning and took off for Panama City following a delivery ceremony at the Boeing Delivery Center in Seattle.
It was the second 737-800 -- the 4th Next-Generation 737 -- received from Boeing [NYSE: BA] this year. The ceremony marked the 16th Next-Generation 737 delivered to Copa Airlines as part of a fleet modernization. Copa has three firm deliveries remaining with Boeing -- all for 2004.
